We’re in a golden age for vintage vehicles. Aside from the usual Corvettes and Mustangs that have held collectible status for decades, a whole generation of Radwood-era rides is finally getting its due (see the skyrocketing prices on ’90s Hondas, for example), along with other cars and trucks that have suddenly become enthusiast icons. Browsing today’s lineup of online car auctions gives you a front-row seat to all the action—and a fun way to put one of these rides in your garage.
We scoured auction sites like Cars & Bids, Bring a Trailer, Hemmings, and more to put together a short list of some of the most intriguing vehicles up for grabs right now. See something you like? Bid on it. Not interested in our picks? Check back later—we’ll update this page with a fresh batch of car auctions every week.
The Best Car and Truck Auctions
1. 1991 Nissan Figaro
The Figaro is a retro-futurist icon. Produced at Nissan’s famed Pike factory for just one year, the car’s design is a mashup of automotive influences, with inspiration drawn from vehicles like the Citroën 2CV and Vespa scooters. Added bonus: This particular example is a limited-edition model with cup holders and passenger-side baskets, and it received a catalytic converter, so it complies with California’s strict emissions standards.
2. 2005 Audi A8 L W12
This handsome Audi combines luxury and power in equal measure. It’s a long-wheelbase model, which means the back seat is extra roomy and especially luxe—there’s even a refrigerator back there. It’s perfect for getting chauffeured around like royalty, but with its massive W12 engine up front, we wouldn’t blame you if you insist on staying in the driver’s seat.
3. 2022 Ford Bronco Black Diamond
The hype around the Ford Bronco is still going strong, and combined with supply chain issues, that’s making these new trucks hard to find. Now’s your chance to snag one in an especially appealing spec. This Black Diamond edition looks great in its Eruption Green Metallic paint and black soft top, and better yet, it sports the desirable seven-speed manual transmission with a dedicated crawler gear.
4. 1988 Toyota 4Runner
Are vintage trucks more your style? Take a look at this 4Runner. Like the Bronco, it’s also set up for open-air cruising (the rear hardtop is removable, a feature that disappeared on later 4Runners). Although the interior is pretty bare-bones, these trucks are renowned for their off-road prowess, and considering the low mileage on this example, it’s ready for plenty more backcountry exploring.
5. 1992 Yamaha WR 200R
There might not be a radder bike on the planet than this one. It’s a Yamaha WR 200R, and it appears to be incredibly well-preserved: the graphics and paint look (mostly) pristine and there’s hardly any dirt on it. It’s now offered for auction with a fresh set of tires and a recent oil change—just in time to hit the trails this summer.
