1. Rewarding yourself with junk food. The increased hunger after a workout and the addictiveness of junk food can easily cause you to overeat and negate all the calories you just burned. Ideally, you want to plan out your post workout meal.
2. Not drinking enough water. Your body loses a lot of water through sweat, causing muscle cells to shrink. Dehydrated muscle cells are associated with protein breakdown, while hydrated cells are associated with protein synthesis. Therefore, you want to make sure you drink enough water.
