Here’s Why This #FitSquad Is All The Inspiration You’ll Ever Need

Running

We’ve all been there – you skip one workout and emerge three months later as a couch potato. U-oh. If you could do with some inspiration after a long winter in hibernation, then these fit, fabulous women are guaranteed to get you going. Seriously, you need to check this out…

Partnering with Shield in their quest to empower women with confidence, Mapule Ndhlovu aka Queenfitnass, and Nkateko Maswanganye aka Takkies, are the only #FitSquad you need for a proper dose of fitspiration.

Inspiration: Mapule Ndhlovu

QueenFitnass is #fitnessgoals. She’s been crowned Women’s Health cover star, the 2016 WH Next Fitness Star and is one of the most loved certified personal and group exercise trainers in the country.

But, everyone has to start somewhere – fitness wasn’t always a priority for Mapule growing up: it was a scholarship to study exercise science that sparked her passion, and since then she’s been known to push herself to new limits. Today, through social media, QueenFitnass inspires women to get out and get active – she knows exactly how to string together an intense workout that’ll have you sweating in no time.

Inspiration: Nkateko Maswanganye

Takkies is fit and fabulous! In 2010, the South African dancer and choreographer was one of the Top 16 contestants on the SABC1 reality competition So You Think You Can Dance.

Takkies is living proof that workouts don’t have to be boring. If you like your workouts with a side of sexy, you’ll love her @rockingnheels classes. This choreographer and fitness instructor’s moves will have you dancing to your heart’s content, and getting fit while you’re at it.
